OBJECTIVE
To deploy volunteers in a more efficient and transparent way

BACKGROUND
A number of Volunteer Management Systems (VMS) have been planned and implemented in various regions in the country, at various times, including for Visits and for the Golden Jubilee. However there is currently no long-term sustainment plan for the various VMS in use, or a central, national VMS function.

KEY CHANGES TO BE IMPLEMENTED
Implement a national VMS for managing and communicating with volunteers. The VMS will allow IVC leadership to manage regular Jamatkhana and special event duties, e-mail duty schedules, and send duty reminders to IVC Volunteers.
